CDEvents: A Common Language for the Delivery Toolchain

Modern software delivery runs through a sprawl of independent tools, each speaking its own dialect of webhooks and proprietary events. CDEvents, an incubating project of the Continuous Delivery Foundation, defines a shared vocabulary so these tools finally understand one another. Built on top of CloudEvents, it specifies standardized event types for every stage of delivery, from a commit landing in a repository through builds, artifacts, tests, deployments, and operational health.
